This tutorial includes the 301 permanent redirect settings for eNom domain provider. With 301 redirect you can permanently redirect your old domain to new domain e.g. (http://olddomain.com to http://newdomain.com).
In eNom control panel there is no direct option for doing 301 redirect, it only contains Url redirect which is a temporary redirect option.
Following are the steps for doing 301 redirect in eNom.
1. Sign into your eNom domain control panel.
3. Add 2 new records with Host name = @ and Host name = www and Record type = URL redirect and in the address bar add the following code at the end of the new domain to which you are forwarding.
e.g. http://newdomain.com/?redir_mode=301 also shown in screen shot.
Now you have redirected your old domain to new domain. Please note these setting may take 24 to 48 hours globally depending upon your domain provider. If you want to check whether redirect is working or not flush you computer DNS and use VPN or Proxy servers.
